Have you ever awoken with a melody created from your dreams?
ha ha, yes! that happened last night in fact! I was working on the new album, and the Coldplay song Viva la Vida was in my dreams. I remember writing the parody about Food Storage. I woke up, and wrote it in a couple of minutes.

Yes, but they never seem to amount to much. I've woken up with lyrics, song titles and album titles, and they always seem much more brilliant in my dreams than when I'm awake. I'm still hoping I might have a Paul McCartney/Yesterday moment, though.

It's funny. I have never remember my dreams, but I would go to bed thinking of a melody or idea and have to get up and write it. Thanks to the computer and my earphones I can work at any hour of the day or night.
