When do you have your most lucid moments, in the morning or night?
I write in the morning but songwriting really comes to me in the evening as the sun is setting. At the end of the day, the feeling of accomplishing something is far greater than falling asleep while trying to write a great song.
Late at night or whenever I am alone.That may be partly because for years after years I have to teach children music lessons, which takes place primarily in the morning and early evening.
At night...In the morning my mind is too preoccupied.
Mostly at night, then I do write them down or try to visualise them along with something I know I won't forget the next morning.
Surely in the night. It's the best moment to create, in my opinion. Obviously I wake up about at 11:30 A.M.. So in the "morning" I do practice at the piano, then listen to music, read some book, analyze some piece and drink Red Bull. Then navigate on the Internet, then I must remember that I have a wife and a cat.
I think the best moment is when im upset and when im alone and my mind is relaxed..
I'm a night owl, totally.
Most ideas come to me at night for some crazy reason. I use the morning and afternoon as my "corporate time" handling everyday office duties. But, my most artistic and creative time is at night.
It usually depends on my mood and my surroundings.

I am a night person. I flounder around during the day and all the pieces of my day come together at night as inspiration for the next creative purge.
