When do you have your most lucid moments, in the morning or night?
Late at night.
Usually at night time as it gives me an opportunity to relax and focus
Normally at night when a lot of people are sleeping.
Both.. as long as its quiet. I like peace and quiet.

Night time is the best cause I'm able to listen to myself in a deep way.
I mostly create my best hits early in the twilight timeframe
Well, over the years I figured it out quite precisely. Between 5am and 9am and again 9pm till 3am. So that means in the morning and in the night. The only problem is, when to sleep and how to get the rest of my life done? It is sometime hard.
For that reason I remember a little poem, austrian songwriter and singer Rainhard Fendrich once did:
In german:
"Ein Dichter ist beneidenswert.
Er hat ein schönes Leben.
Er bleibt daheim und lebt vom Reim.
Was würd man darum geben,
sich Tag für Tag am Musenkuss zu berauschen?
Nur wenn er nachts nicht schlafen kann,
will keiner mit ihm tauschen."
In english the gist of it:
We all love poets and creative people, living on poems and writing.
But as soon as they can't get to sleep due to their "most licid moments" at night, nobody wants to change life with them anymore.

Definitely in the night. I'm really not a morning person at all. Well, I say that. But i think the main reason I have such a distaste for the mornings is because of what I'm used to waking up for. Feeling obligated to wake up for work/school through my life has really left a bad taste in my mouth. I've noticed I really don't mind the mornings at all when I'm waking up to fulfill something more progressive in my own eyes.
I know a lack of sleep or my hatred for mornings wouldn't present itself if I were waking up to further pursue my dreams. But as of now, my most lucid and productive moments are in the evenings or late nights. |
