When did you realise that making music could be a way of life for you?
When first started making beats, I would write a song to them and people would say, i like that track. I sold my first track in 1993 and from there, there was no turning back.
Well, Hip Hop music has become my everyday routine and a way of life for me, i can't do without making good music and my interest in it has grew more than i can even imagine

At 10 years old, i watched the music awards shows at every opportunity and knew that one day I would " have my own CD with my own songs ".
Probably in high school. I was involved with so many musical activities, and I loved it so much. I realized it would always be a part of my life. During college I decided it would be a major part of my life.

To be honest, the only reason I performed in the first place was because people were making fun of me in school. I was 15 years old and sitting in the cafeteria and I let someone look at my lyrics (big no-no). He criticized every thing I wrote and had the whole table laughing at me. It was a very embarrassing moment for me, so, I decided to prove everyone wrong in the upcoming talent show.
The night of the show came and it was my turn to go on the stage. As I stood behind that curtain, holding that microphone, I was scared to death! My knees were shaking so bad and my heart was pounding so hard that I could hear it through my ears. One thing I did not hear, however, was my name being called by the announcer. Just as I was about leave and go home (because I was so scared), the curtains open and I was facing an auditorium full of my peers. All of sudden, a voice projected over the speakers; it took me a second to realize that that voice was mine! By the time I finished the song, the crowd roared and cheered with applause. Furthermore, after the show, I was waiting in front of my school for my dad to pick and one of the guys that made fun of me a couple months prior pulled in front of me in his car, looked at me and said, "That sh*t was tight man."
That was the defining moment when I knew that I wanted to do music for rest of my life.
