3 years of music theory in high school.
As I mentioned before, my main teacher was my father, and the rest was self taught.
at the age of 8, I started taking Piano lessons, but then stopped at age 11 because I just simply lost interest. Then I started taking drums, with Denis Rondeau, and continue to do so. However, then difference between now and then, is now, we teach each other, and before, he tought me. I'd just like to thank hiim, Denis Rondeau, for that.
I was a singer in the national group "United Girls Choir".
uh... the only lessons i had were for violin and that was for 2-3 years. i had on and off vocal training for 2 years. my education started when i got into a performing arts school for music.
musical education... i'm getting there.... :)
Self taught.
I was in band from 5th grade on, first with clarinet, then saxophone, french horn, and percussion. I picked up the guitar on my own around 7th grade, teaching myself to play along with B.B. King recordings. By the time I was in college, I began studying classical guitar formally. I went back to jazz and rock after I graduated. Most of my musical education wasn't in guitar studios, I suppose. I actually majored in music theory.
FOR THE MOST PART, I TAUGHT MYSELF EVERYTHING I KNOW...
