How did you begin making music? Who introduced you?

Whohub

I asked my uncle if he could teach me the drums then i just started other instruments from there.

I discovered the field of electronic music through a DJ workshop in Jena / Germany. This workshop was founded by the guys of the Jena-based label "Freude am Tanzen". Before, I never thought about DJing or producing such kind of music. But maybe, it's a good basis to see some things easier.

Oh wow! At the age of 5, my grandfather was just forming a band with a friend of his. So I guess he would be who actually introduced me to it.

I have been influenced by Music from a really young age. From my parents love of South & Motown to when I first wrote my own lyric to UK Garage at the age of 12. Influences growing up was without a doubt - The Hartless Crew, MC Viper, DJ EZ, Artful Dodger, MC KIE, MC Uno, Charlie Brown, Scott Garcia, Matt Jam Lamont, MC Shabba, MC Skibadee, Eksman, Eminem, Plan B etc. just to name a few. Inspired by RnB, Hip Hop, UKG, Drum & Bass & Future Dub.

Well I been around music most of my life.I basically just loved the feel of the music and began having fun with it with friends, eventually it would grab a hold of me and I have'nt let it go since.Nobody really got me into music it kinda just happened.

I never had any real intention of making my own music. I was listening to the Beatles a lot in college and I really wanted to turn the music up loud and play along on guitar; so that's how I started to learn the guitar.

A few years later I was heavy into Bob Dylan and Paul Simon and I think that's what started me on the path toward wanting to write my own songs; and that's what I've done since 2006.

Growing up I always would hear the music in my head. I was constantly writing poetry and turning them into songs. When I was in 8th grade I started playing guitar and from there it kept on expanding.

Well i just begin by feeling the need to express myself to people and alike. And the beat just adds me to another zone to compile more of a feel to write. And the main person that introduced me is kinda funny but was Elvis.I took from him of how he took a style and molded it to his fashion that wasnt seen for a white person.

My dreams:)

I first made mixes/remixes under my alias DJ Sexa but I got inspired in making music of my own by Paul Kalkbrenner and Deadmau5 ,as I watched the last one making music live at home. ( UstreamTV )

Use to sing in a childrens gospel choir

Well, I didn't start off too young. I started in year 7 when I was 12. It happened because during year 6, my best friend Stephanie told me she was going to start getting bass lessons, and I was really intrigued by that. We're heaps close, so I thought it'd be an awesome idea to get a guitar and get guitar lessons for myself! So I got one next christmas, but I knew absolutely nothing about music, guitars, or even rock. My family was never really much into music even though they were creative, so I kinda got in to the whole scene myself. I got guitar lessons and started from scratch. Then, when I got the hang of it, I started learning pieces on my own or picking up on songs. I tried composing songs by then but it didn't really work out since I didn't know any scales or anything. But then we got up to that in my lessons, and I just eventually started composing some stuff using all the things I learnt.

Age 5 my mother, singing in a local choir.

My parents introduced me to music. I started playing flute when I was 9 and turned to conducting when I was 22.
