There was one thing I will mention, which Wired Magazine had in their top ten CDs of 1995, called Beyond The Status Quo, on some French label, by Trapsz.
I wrote most of it, played some not too horrid guitar, and was forced into service as a keyboard player, on which I have no real ability.
Could have been ok, but the mix really sucked. It was hard to credit why the reviewer was so keen.
I used to design much of the sound for a little avant-garde outfit in SF, CA, called PFS, who had some European following (the whole Rock In Opposition movement, they rather represented American Suburbia as 'Cartoon') for a time. One sound I made was so prevalent in their act it got to be called Civil Circus. The album with that song, if I recall correctly was called "Illustrative Problems".
