Stood 1st class 1st in an ALL INDIA MERIT TEST, organised by NIKHIL BHARAT SANGEET SAMITY and achieved GOLD MEDAL from there in 2008;
Achieved the Santana Panza Memorial Shield (1st prize) at the All Bengal Music Competition in 2002;
Stood 2nd in tabla in the All India Merit Test by Sarbabharatiya Sangeet O Sanskriti Parishad, Kolkata and achieved the Silver Medal from there in 2008.
Achieved the N. N. Chatterjee Challange Cup (in 2003, 2004, 2006) at the Inter-Collegiate Oriental Music Competition organised by the Calcutta University Institute;

DC Talk picked up my group Nanosecond's song and rerecorded it as a rap version on their Nu Thang CD which got a Grammy and Dove Award back in the 1990s. Then a few years later I gave Tobby McKeenan of then DC Talk now know as Tobby Mac the chorus and bridge to Dove Award and Grammy winning platinum winning song "Jesus Freak" as I just opened my mouth to tell DC Talk how I didn't care if everyone thought I was a Jesus Freak.

I am also a 2004 Skate Canada Adult Championship Freeskate 1 40+ Ladies Bronze medallist and won several other figure skating medals at other competitons in both Freeskate and Interpretive skating.

Winner of a Platinum Auddy for "Free the Weed", and winner of Gold Auddy for "Just a Song". 

I have opened up for artists such as Lil, Boosie, Webbie, Juvenile, Charlie Boy, Lil, KeKe, Z-Ro, Trina, and Trae.
I'm planning on going up for an award for the blackcard media awards on December 4th.

I haven't won any awards yet but I was 1st runner up in a beat battle before and I have had 4 music videos shot to songs produced by me. 

For the 2009 / 2010 Footbal Season, Guitarbitz entered a draw to sponsor Bristol Rovers Football Team.

Guitarbitz won 3rd prize of an advertising hording next to the home team dug out.

We regularly participate in the National Finals, and have championed a number of local and national contests.

Ah, I've won a ton of piano competitions and scholarships. <3 music! 


I was nominated for an award on a website whose main three letters stand for "It Ain't Coming" (regarding revenue). Other than that relatively meaningless honour, nothing. Not a sausage. 

Sir George Martin presented me with an ATCL certificate in Vocals/ Guitar in 2004

Can be seen in the "Swings and Roundabouts" video for London band "Farrah" filmed early 2010

Recently hit the youtube charts as "most subscribed" in the "musician" and "UK" categories

Several "Black Nazarene" songs have been played on The SilentMark radio show on Diversity FM

My previous band, "Return of the Furies" achieved 3rd place (over 1000 bands had entered) in an International BOTB competition and also won a development deal

"Return of the Furies" also reached top 10 most requested/played on an Essex radio station
