Reached the semi finals of the 2010 Surface Unsigned Festival (Nation Battle Of The Bands Competition)
my last band won a number of local and Dublin based 'battle of the bands' competitons. I have a cert for sounds engineering, and guitar playing from 'Pulse' and 'Troy Horse' recording studios.
but no major awards as of yet.

In my last year of university (B.Mus, composition) I won two first prizes in the SOCAN Young Composer's Competition (SOCAN is the Society of Composer's Author's and Music Publishers - Canada's version of ASCAP) for a work for three flutes (Chamber Music Category) and a piece for solo violin (works for solo or duo). One year later I received a third place prize for a piece for solo piccolo.
My music has been performed widely, including having been commissioned for the first season of the Ottawa International Chamber Music Festival (piece for Cello & Piano), and a work for viola soloist Rivka Golani. While I was at McGill University I was invited to have a piece performed on the faculty composer's concert - a concert that featured the music of the faculty of McGill, not any of the students.
I have won tons of firsts and seconds and thirds and lasts at karaoke and I was best leading lady in a musical play.....I have won 2 best actress awards fore school plays too. oh and I almost stared as a 7up kid in a commercial... but we didn't have the money for a portfolio so someone else got the part

As far as awards and accomplishments, ive done shows from high school talent shows, open mics, Apollo theatre, Lincoln theater, Georgia Ave Day, DC's Unifest, Budwieser superfest, and various night clubs from MD, DC, TX, VA, PA, and NYC. I've won tons of competitions in my career in music and Ive opened up for and performed in shows with such acts as Lil Kim, Junior Mafia, Fat Joe, Big Pun, Xscape, Soul 4real, 112, M.O.P., Craig Mack, Luke, Tracey Lee, Terror Squad, etc.
