Uhm , i just started singing not even a year ago. About a week ago i was in my school talent show though.!
Joined the New School's summer jazz workshop in Bassano del Grappa, Italy in 2007.
Yeah. A couple years back I won a Remix Contest sponsored by Remix Magazine and Cornerstone. It was a song called "Turn it Up" by Omillio Sparks. It was then featured on a mixtape associated with producer Pete Rock called "The Music Meeting". I've giving out over 50 beats this last year and counting, so hopefully more things to come.
We've been performing in the Bay Area for a few years.

Our award was playing to 4,000 awesome fans! nothing is better.
Well, I haven't participated in a lot of contests, but I got the second place in the Daniel Pearl singing contest of the U.S. Embassy in Venezuela, I got third place in the singing contest "Solo Tu Voz" made by "Mayré Martínez, academia de canto", I got to sing with the Pop/R&B Ensemble of George Russell during the Five-Week summer program at Berklee College of Music.. And.. that's the most I remember.
I've only been awarded for work ive done in the community of Oakland
My little 3 year old daughter thinks im the best rapper alive!
We have 2 main competitions/awards annualy:
- Emerging Artist (Chosen from our season Artists)
- Young Artist (Chosen from auditioned High School age Singers)
Nothing yet. My bandmates and I have been on the down low with our music until we feel that it's ready.
sinem altan got a prize called "young ears" for her musical theatre working "city of dogs" in 2010 @ neukölln opera berlin. she got many other prizes as well.
