I write most of my songs alone and perform as a solo act but I do have friends who I perform live with sometimes and am looking for a band.
I work alone,i'm a solo artiste
I work with my Netty Mac Band:
Mark Stauffer - Lead Guitar & Backup Vocals
Russell Boudreau - Bass Guitar & Backup Vocals
Greg Collins - Drums & Backup Vocals
When I write, it's usually alone. When I perform it varies. Sometimes I perform solo, with just a keyboard, guitar and laptop, and sometimes I perform with a band. I usually have a drummer, bassist, and pianist, and occasionally violin.
Alone. I havent found anyone to join, so I'm not opposed to the idea.
work alone sometimes better that way
Eh, I look at making music like sex. Sometimes it's good to do it alone, you're comfortable, relaxed, you can go at your own pace, and most importantly, you can achieved the desired goal quicker because you don't have to worry about being a productive member of the team. However, it's more fun to work with other people. Although, your sessions may take a little longer they are definitely more enjoyable and many times you're more satisfied with the end result.
So I get it depends on the project ;-)
