i am presently a solo act and play all the instruments myself but i would like a group as my songs are very hard to play.

I have a few global musicians that I like to work with: Jyotsna, Dada Nabhanilananda, and Rainjan Ramon Sosa; as well as local spoken word artists PK McCary and Maria Palacios. I am a resident artist at Ananda Kanan Ozark Retreat Center where I work with different artists twice a year; and at the Ananda Marga Center in Vermont, where I co-teach Prabhat Samgiita workshops in the summer.

I worked in many groups as well as solo. When it comes to groups, I like to think of them as ensembles. In any musical ensemble each position has a responsibility. Having understanding and respect for the other members and their positions is critical for the ensemble's success.
My versatility has allowed me to work with Stars of the stage and screen, Las Vegas headliners, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame recording artists, Jazz Greats, and some of the greatest musicians in the world, many of whom I'm able to call friend.

As Nick Frost Music I work alone, which is not to say I don't accept critique and ideas from outside sources, but the work is mostly done by myself. I play in a few bands too, with some good friends of mine (which I feel is critical to the creative process).

The answer is both. I work some folk clubs on my won and I also do solo performances of my contempoaray work with computer, voice and sax. The others I work with include Blowzabella, Token Women, The Old Swan Band, my own 'Lal Waterson project' and my trio with Jude and neil from Chumbawamba. In addition to all of that I do special shows singing in a sic pice harmony group with Coope, Boyes and Simpson, Fi Fraser, georgina Boyes and myself and I have recently started a new collaboration with Dutch band Maalstroom. |
