When I play my own music, I play as a duo as guitarist with my drummer of many years, Evan Pollack. We play local clubs in the DC area.
Wayne's dynamic drumming and remarkable 3 1/2 octave vocal range have played pivotal roles in a number of popular bands, including The Cartells and Eight to the Bar. He toured and recorded with Blues Legend Johnny Winter, has made appearances with The Harvey Brooks Band, and done freelance work for such NE regional favorites as: Motown Review and The Black Rock All Stars. His work in voiceover and audiobook production and narration has also afforded his distinctive voice an international audience.
I work in a group, with other members of our worship team.
i work alone, with a little help from my friends.
Always better in a group setting. I play with my bandmates Cal, Christine, and Mark. They are all great people and we all feed off each other really well.
I have sung as a solo artist, have headed a group, with a large rhythm section, and a very full sound, and worked in more intimate settings, with a jazz trio, and with one or two musicians, like a guitarist, or guitarist and upright bass.
I currently work solo as the owner, musician, and instructor of the Elliott Music Studio.
Yes. I work with my brother Conner. He is an amazing songwriter and plays guitar as well.
Most of my work is solitary although I do perform with artist, Geoffrey Paris, in his band as a DJ and guitarist.
Work both alone and in groups. Groups are usually spiritual/religious (Christian).
At the moment I work alone, but have been in a few groups. I played guitar and bass and sang (back up).
I usually work alone, although I would rarely reject the notion of working with others.
Music is ALWAYS a result of collaboration, and a musical performer is NOT a performer without an audience. In the case of "solo" performers, the AUDIENCE is his or her collaborator, so no one delves into this business on their own.
That said, I am my own boss but I work together with many other people on various projects, sometimes as a contributor to the process and sometimes as the main force and decision-maker. Each case is different from every other case. I have worked on events involving up to seventy people and I have also worked with individuals, with every permutation in between.
I work alone, mainly because I haven't found anyone to work with yet.
