Do you work alone or in a group? If in a group, who are the others you work with?

Whohub

I work alone at the moment, though I have played in orchestras and bands previously. My current studies often involve having to work as part of a group.

I'm working alone, at my home... I have a small home-studio, with mixer, keyboard, guitars and microphones..... + computer-software instruments....

I wish I worked with a group. I work alone in a "Mickey Mouse" home studio, on a "shoestring budget" - lol.

I am basically a rhythm guitarist, who (by necessity) has to do the vocals, lead guitar, and make the backing tracks on keyboard too, although I'm not a keyboard player, it takes me forever - lol.

The worst part is mixing - you lose perspective after awhile. It's hard to do everything well, when you have to be the whole band, the sound man, the producer, and the promoter.

It would be so much easier with a team of people who were specialized, and expert in their respective roles - but alas that costs money.

I do a bit of both. I have my music class, and with that come various groups, but I also have to do quite a bit on my own. Music's therapeutic, why not? I work with some very talented musicians, and some who can't be arsed, frankly.

I work alone and with 2-3 more people depending on the venue .

I was a great student, but I don't think I got high marks for "plays well with others." I'm still slightly scarred from my childhood of forming bands and bossing people around. (cousins, neighbors) So, I play alone. Sometimes people join me under the moniker of "Jessica Fogle & her talented friends." One time I made a rotating band called "Melancholy Frog/Jessica Fogle"...it was me and drummer Ross Howard. And my husband. And everyone was a frog. Suicidal Frog, Bipolar Frog, Contemporary Frog, etc. Now that's the title of my first album.

With my own natural abilities, gifts & talents, I could work alone. However, I'd prefer to work with a comedy, drama & vocal group, for I am a people-person & a harmony nut. The Vocalizer unit is interesting, but I prefer people.

I am comfortable working with others or by my lonesome.

I prefer to work alone, although many other people help me to improve my style. My choir and band directors often tell me if I am missing something, of if this or that would sound better.

i actually don't work as a singer, but sometimes people, a group, company or churches invite me to sing
