I have a degree in church music with pipe organ, but church music has evolved from that type of music (organ/piano) to worship teams with many instruments involving a digital keyboard(which I play) in church worship. At present I play Sunday Morning at Calvary Chapel Greenwood on a worship team. We meet in a gym so we have had to adjust accordingly. On our worship team we have a strange combination from ages 20 to age 67, but it works. We all have to give and take a little with one goal in mind to inspire the people in the congregation to worship the Lord. No "premedonnas" allowed.

My degree was in Music Composition at Berklee College of Music. After years as a professional musician-magician, I became fascinated with how people learn. I now teach trainers, teachers, and speakers effective presentation skills techniques that apply the very same tricks I used on as a band leader to manipulate moods in nightclubs. My book on the subject is called Training With a Beat: The Teaching Power of Music. I also speak often on the subject, including at major learning conferences (ASTD, IAL, MPI, SHRM, ISPI, Training). My presentation is called Learning With a Beat: The Teaching Power of Music.™
