Measurement of the value is always set up front so that it is achievable and measurable.

For many years, I looked at money, since it's a specific and measurable way to keep track of something. Today, I'm looking more at impact, which is harder to measure, but more rewarding for me. Ultimately though, it's up to the client whose project I'm working on.
