This is an area I do need assistance with. Currently I am reliant on my facebook profile and word of mouth. I acknowledge that I must dedicate more time to promoting my blog, if I indeed want it to be the success I feel it could be. I've begun to let the creative cogs click over in my mind and think through a process to promote my blog. Watch this space!
I promote with Twitter, Facebook, and search bots.
word of online mouth?
I am set up with NetworkedBlogs, and BlogHer. New posts are promoted in my Twitter feed. I also participate it many Blogger "events" in which all participates get a link added in a list of participants. I've pulled readers from all these places.
Basically I don't promote it. But well, commenting in other blogs might be regarded as promoting though, because it often leads other readers to come to visit in my blog. And other bloggers and different kind of websites do it for me, we all promote each others by linking. I get, for example, quite a lot readers from an Australian web-site Living Creatively because my blog is linked in their "Websites and blogs that make our creative hearts jump.."
I share my blog on my studio website, facebook & twitter.
I haven't done much of that yet, but I need to!
I don't. Sometimes I will drop links in relevant conversations, but rarely. I am mainly promoted via other blogrolls like www.zerohedge.com, http://market-ticker.denninger.net/ or Mish's http://globaleconomicanalysis.blogspot.com/ (among many other blogrolls I'm in).
I do not promote my blog. I presume 'word of mouth' pushes the blog along.
I hardly do, but through blogher ads, facebook and friends and family
I promote it through my Facebook or in e-mails.
Through 20 something bloggers and twitter. And by commenting on lots and lots of blogs everyday
WR2BAM is on Facebook, Twitter, the Independent Fashion Bloggers' Network, Lookbook, Chictopia, Stylemob, Weardrobe, and theFindBuzz.
Through my social networks (i.e. facebook, Myspace & Twitter).
