How do you promote your blog?
Facebook and scrapbook forums ..
honnestly??? i don't!
Blogged.com
I tweet each new post on Twitter, to test reaction. Broadbrush promotion starts soon; much of my content is non-ephemeral and the blogs stand up as a resource which can be used encyclopaedically. I currently have enough content to provide both blogs with credibility, so wider audiences will now be sought.
I don't really promote my blog.
I would promote it in my facebook page. I don't promote my blog as open as possible because ironically, I am very shy to let someone I know read my blog. I would rather have strangers visit my blog.
I will be utilizing a Search Engine Optimization program within a couple of months to promote my site. I also contact companies directly to get my site in front of them.
The media, newspapers, radio and TV promoted my blog by finding it to be a great story. It's now picked up two and a half million page loads and maintains its own momentum.
Twitter, Facebook, sports sites.
I promote my blog on Facebook, other network sites and any place where it is acceptable and tasteful to do so. Also, I have the name and URL as part of my email signature.
I tweet about it and occasionally post on Facebook about it. I should probably try harder but I can't be asked.
I did set up a Facebook fan page when I was feeling sorry for myself and amazingly some people have joined it http://www.facebook.com/pages/meemalees-kitchen/129052900460792
I have the link to my blog on my Facebook page & I also import all my postings into my "notes" section on Facebook & Twitter.
I usually include my blog address in my Christmas cards so that if my friends & family want to know a bit more about what we've been up to, they can find us that way.
I'm also on a couple of blogrolls for Pastor's Wives, & Mummy Bloggers.
I use twitter and facebook to promote my blogg.
Promotion of my work is solely by word-of-mouth. I am very fortunate to have friends and acquaintances who support my work and 'spread the word' at every opportunity. There is no greater measure of one's own success than when one's friends take up the cause of one's work.
I use traffic exchanges, joined social networks for hair and beauty |
