Does blogging bring in income for you? Can one make a living from posting?
I think there are bloggers that can make a living from posting entries in a blog but I suspect they are few and far between. Many likely had some level of following prior to starting the blog. Others just click with the right subject in the right place at the right time. Others are just more ambitious at promoting themselves. I think I've earned a nickel so far.
I have not made much money. I suppose if I blog enough and advertise correctly, then it could bring in more than just movie money.
No, I don't get paid to blog at all. I was linking back to my Amazon Affiliate account for awhile there, but with the upcoming FTC laws I have stopped. I never made a dime doing that anyway. It's not about the money, in fact..I spend more money sending books out to contest winners. The books I receive from authors/publishers is payment enough. They send me their book as payment for my honest reviews and time.
Yes, blogging brings an income for me. I can't make a living on it just yet, but hopefully someday. And for now, it's great for extra spending money.

Blogging at this point does not bring in income for me. I have been offered my very first product review so I will be recieiving free product shortly. I don't anticipate making my blog profitable. I do it for fun. If get an occasional free item thats fine but I really don't need or want the money.
I have over the last two months made some money from advertising which was quite a thrill but no where near enough to live off of. Even the giants of Fashion blogging still have day jobs.
I think the real money is in showcasing your writing skills to potential employers in the industry. It sounds like a far-fetched fantasy but just look at Susana Lau of Stylebubble.com!
I don't expect to receive anything on account of my blog so when I do get things I am ridiculously grateful and shocked.
I haven't attempted to create an income from the blog. I still want to lay a solid foundation for the blog before I focus on making money with it. I don't know if I could make a living from posting. I still believe that there is a potentially huge market for my blog, the real trick is posting content that will get people to come again and again.

People do make a living from it, but I am not one of those people. I have made $0.03 so far from my blog and don't expect that next penny anytime soon.

No, I have made no income form blogging. I think you can eventually but I am not currently. It would be nice but not sure how to go about that
