How often do you post? Does regular posting of your blog require a lot of effort on your part?
I make it a point to at least make a post once a week. However, I intend to be more regular as several issues keep cropping up more often and therefore require urgent attention. Surely, if one thinks of making regular postings they indeed require a lot of effort. In fact, a lot of time goes into research on the issue at hand. I feel that the post be a comprehensive one so that it directly impacts the reader and be used as a reference for the concerned writers/researchers.
I post regularly at times. It depends what's going on in my life.
once in a week... no effort.. because its not my official or professional work.
I do it on my mood.. and interest
I try to post often, but have never set a schedule to do so. I think having a schedule makes it more a job and less fun. This way I don't feel bad if I don't post everyday.
I have spent 2008 in reviewing and editing my blog, very frequently.
Based on that experience, I created two more blogs in which, I uploaded 60 poems written by my late father-in-law. I beautified them with relevant images from Google.

That was a lot of work.
This year, I propose to write necessary details of my paintings, taking note of the repeated suggestions from my viewers.
My hard work resulted in better visibility and more sharing.
It motivated me to do more experimentation and upgradation, using smart facilities.
I post 1-4 times a month, and as for effort, Windows Live Writer makes it effortless.
Very rarely, do I post. Anything with any regularity takes a lot of effort on my part.
I post as often as I can. For some of my frequently read blogs, I post every day religiously. Some other blogs I post every couple months. It depends. I have different blogs for different topics.
It varies dramatically depending on how busy I am with the festival schedule but I try and do it every day... Sadly the micro blogging takes so much less effort, it's incredibly easy to just do that and feel I've contributed something.
I usually post once per week, and it's no problem at all.
