How often do you post? Does regular posting of your blog require a lot of effort on your part?
Depends...but usually only 2-4 times a month, and yes, posting, whether regular or sporadic, frequently requires a lot of my time & focus.

The shoe blog doesn't require any effort at all. In fact, I have too many shoes to blog about.
When it comes to the August Mayfield Blog, there are times when I don't think what I have to write about on a particular day is of interest to anyone but me!
I try to post at least once a week, but I usually end up with more if I have good material to work with. As far as effort, I put a lot of it into my posts. I figure if I want someone to read it (and hopefully come back) I better make it good. I put my name and face on my blog, so it's crucial that I make the effort to put forth quality material.

I'm trying to start posting regularly again. It usually doesn't require very much effort, unless I'm tired or trying to focus on something else.
Almost everyday, sometimes I miss posting in one day or two though. Nahh, it's just like writing on my personal diary.

yes quite a lot, I posted about - about 5 times a day. does not require a lot of contributions.
I post when I have an idea. It is not really regular, sometimes it's twice a day and sometimes once a week. I think that regular posting is more interesting for readers.

I am at the computer a lot. I homeschool my three older children through a web based program so while they work on worksheets and reading, I work on blog posts and researching.
I don't find that posting takes a whole lot of effort to be honest. It's just me sharing my thoughts in a letter form kind-of way to my readers. I find it very enjoyable!
I try to post everyday which surprisingly takes very little planning. If I get swamped I don't stress about it. I must admit that I don't take as much time taking good photos as I probably should. If I photoshopped every pic then that would take so much more effort. |
