How often do you post? Does regular posting of your blog require a lot of effort on your part?
I post every single day, every time I get a chance. I blog from my cellphone, from classes, wherever I am and have the need to share something with my followers. I love it, it's a part of me, and for now that is what I need in my life, a place I can say every single thing thats on my mind.
We post twice a week. It's not that it requires effort--it requires thought and presence. And that's something we're all short on.
At the moment I post a preview and an analysis of each game as well as commenting on transfer news or any other relevant news at the club. Usually this results in about 3-4 posts per week. It's not really a lot of effort, because I genuinely like to write about Liverpool, so the words seem to just flow out of me.
I try to post once daily or every other day depending upon my schedule. My posting doesn't really require too much effort because I know what I wish to write and the message that I'd like to get to my readers.
I try to post more then 3 posts a week but when you have tests and other things to do you don't have time to post even 1 post a week . I do a lot of effort so my post can people understand but sometimes even the easyes way to people understand it's my hard way
About 2 post/day, not at all.
I try to post every day, some weeks I might miss a day or two becuase I actually work full time outside the home. Blogging ddoen't require a lot of effort but some posts do require more thought because I like to provide relevent and accurate info to my readers.
Daily. Yes, because of the frequency, no because I love it so much.
My goal each month is to come up to 10 to 20 blog entries in a month. It does require a lot of effort, especially when I'm creating the personalities of my characters or the development of the feature films they appear in.
We try to post everyday during the week on all three blogs I work on. Sometimes it requires a great deal of effort. Other times it does not.
I go in spurtz, posting regularly for months, and then I'll leave it for months. I'm like that because I don't like to put up quick posts in a few minutes. Each post is like a little story that I want to be well written and entertaining/touching/informative, or whatever that particular post is supposed to be. And since doing that takes more time, thinking and effort, eventually I get a little burned out from that, so I'll take a break for a few months. After awhile, I get the urge to dive back into it, and the cycle repeats itself lol.
Again, since much of our content is article-length it does take a bit longer than posting up the average blog post. Most blogs keep their content short and sweet, with 350 words being the "happy place." Our content ranges from 350 to 2,000 words, depending on the topic and timing of the piece.
One way I have been able to reduce my time commitment as far as writing goes is to accept content from others in our community and content from businesses and entrepreneurs who have been invited to contribute information about their professional story lines. However: I do have to edit all the content I accept for publication - which can be time consuming in itself. I'm picky about the type of content I accept for the magazine... and a bit of a control freak when it comes to passing the torch and allowing anyone else to edit. My business partner is the only other individual who undertakes this task - quite possibly because he is even more anal than I am when it comes to perfection.
Another aspect of the time required to create a quality blog site is the tools used initially. I only use www.wordpress.org compatible themes for the designwork. One aspect of blogging which shouldn't be overlooked is the theme of the blog. CanyonLivingMagazine.com operates on an Arras theme (www.arrastheme.com), which provides many, many options - as well as maintaining the "magazine" look and feel. The great thing about a theme like Arras is that is can be replicated many times over, and every site created can look entirely different depending on the plug-ins, widgets, and design adopted for a particular site/blog. Kudos to www.arrastheme.com. | | |
Since 2006, the two-day, one day, sometimes writing a few articles I write. Continuous yazmaktayım. I did not break.
I do post quite regularly, although I have recently changed country and job so have not been able to post quite as much. I still answer comments regularly however.
