How often do you post? Does regular posting of your blog require a lot of effort on your part?
Again, since much of our content is article-length it does take a bit longer than posting up the average blog post. Most blogs keep their content short and sweet, with 350 words being the "happy place." Our content ranges from 350 to 2,000 words, depending on the topic and timing of the piece.
One way I have been able to reduce my time commitment as far as writing goes is to accept content from others in our community and content from businesses and entrepreneurs who have been invited to contribute information about their professional story lines. However: I do have to edit all the content I accept for publication - which can be time consuming in itself. I'm picky about the type of content I accept for the magazine... and a bit of a control freak when it comes to passing the torch and allowing anyone else to edit. My business partner is the only other individual who undertakes this task - quite possibly because he is even more anal than I am when it comes to perfection.
Another aspect of the time required to create a quality blog site is the tools used initially. I only use www.wordpress.org compatible themes for the designwork. One aspect of blogging which shouldn't be overlooked is the theme of the blog. CanyonLivingMagazine.com operates on an Arras theme (www.arrastheme.com), which provides many, many options - as well as maintaining the "magazine" look and feel. The great thing about a theme like Arras is that is can be replicated many times over, and every site created can look entirely different depending on the plug-ins, widgets, and design adopted for a particular site/blog. Kudos to www.arrastheme.com. | | |
Since 2006, the two-day, one day, sometimes writing a few articles I write. Continuous yazmaktayım. I did not break.
I do post quite regularly, although I have recently changed country and job so have not been able to post quite as much. I still answer comments regularly however.
everyday or five time for a week
It depends :) 1 post a day. It depends on mood and how much time I have :-) but I try to update my blog as much as it's possible :-)
4-5 posts a day plus 10-20 tweets
I try to post everyday but sometimes every other day because I have to focus on my studies and work.
I'm updating the blog around three times a week. My entries are brief so I don't find it too taxing.
Argh, the thorny question. Frequency varies from 5 times a week down to... yikes... once a week or less. I really have tried to commit to a more regular schedule, but it's very hard for me to write about studying if (a) I am not feeling creative and/or (b) I need to be actually doing the studying instead! That said, I am learning to brush aside the guilt I feel when it's too long between posts, and just carry on when I can.
I post atleast Twice a week, whenever i have abit of spare time. I also have a diary i write new post ideas in and just comments about things i could use in posts, if i go out and see someone wearing something i love or even go in a shop and see a new collection out and it gives me an idea i'll write it down so i don't forget, where ever i am i'm always looking for new/different blog ideas :)
Posts are made almost daily. It is an arduous task, but in line with the mission to create quality posts that are thoroughly researched and offer entertaining and informative style and entertainment news to readers.
I try and blog every 7 to 10 days, now I am in the swing of things it's quite easy, my posts are quite short and I always try and include an image or two to make it more visually appealing.
I try to post everyday. Sometime I haven't the time, sometime I post twice a day. It depends on my schedule. But I do not post regularly because I want to, only because I feel it that way.
I post at least once a week. Since I have been blogging for about three years and now use Learn How To Blog Program I know how to blog with SEO techniques so it only takes me about 15 minutes from start to finish to complete a blog post. Each of my five blogs are now easy to maintain. |
