How has 'having a blog' contributed to your life?
it helped me to be more creative, developped my attitudine towards different topics.
It has sucked away some valuable time that I could use on various projects that I've started but am too fickle to finish.
Peace of mind that I have a digital life ~ diary
I love it! It gives me something to do and it helps me stay in touch with friends and family.
It has made it more stressful that's for sure. Its difficult enough holding down two jobs and taking care of a wife and two cats without the blog added on. However, I also really enjoy it. I love writing and I love helping people. The free sex toys and schwag are nice too. Blogging has also allowed me to meet and network with people that I may never have before.
I feel I'm learning everyday about the different changes in the gay community.
My blog reflects my thoughts. My poetry has been recognized. When I've nothing to do, I go around checking out other blogs and formatting mine. It's like a buddy to me now. I'm totally addicted to blogging. :D
Since this blog is directly related to my new profession, it is a huge part of my life. One of my job responsibilities is to maintain fresh content for The Nylon Gene. I enjoy it very much, so it doesn't seem like a chore, or a 'job' at all. It's also brought me in contact with quite a few people who share a desire to promote the men's legwear concept, and it's always nice to encounter like-minded people who share your interests.
It has given me a creative outlet and a way to blow off steam. It also allows debate and hopefully something for my friends to take a peak at.
Blogging is the full-time job that I wish I actually got paid for. It's fun, and it's a great outlet. I've met lots of great new people, and actually have people to talk to and relate my feelings towards what I love : books.
It has made me more excited to discover and explore Islam, as well as other issues I'm interested in. I am especially interested in the comments I receive, and hearing different opinions. I also feel better knowing I can share my frustrations and experiences with people who are similar to me.
My mom moved in with my family last December. She was on her fourth bout with breast cancer and this time it was fatal. Without being able to blog I think I would have went crazy. I have met some really great people out there.
Having a blog has helped me vent my frustrations, gain wisdom from other experienced mothers, and make new friends.
Aside from fashion show invites, interviews with industry professionals and advertising revenue, it has allowed me to do what I love which is write. If I could do this all day every day I would.
I've been able to meet a lot of new people and learn more about what is happening in the legal community. |
