How has 'having a blog' contributed to your life?
My particular blog requires that I get out into the community and participate in the many educational and entertaining features this area has to offer. Photography has always been of interest to me and the blog offers this opportunity to become a better photographer too
I have been able to connect with lots of other military wives, fiance's, and girlfriends who understand the unique challenges and struggles that being in a relationship with a serviceman entails. Its so important to have people who understand what you're going through when your loved one is so far away.
it makes those around me content . . .
they are not bored by my tales of birdie putts left on the edge of the cup, or miraculous trouble shots, or unfortunate, unfair bounces of the ball, or meticulous dissections of golf-course archictecture, since I put them on the blog, and in turn, I do not fee compelled to repeat myself, since I exhaust my raconteurial urges.
I often note conversationally, that it is amazing how little interested people are in my missed birdie putts.
Well, it has allowed me to express out things I didn't before. To let the hot air out from my system and to discover that there are people out there who think or feel the same way I do and pass through same circumstances only with maybe a few different twists on their story. It helps me see things through their experiences and from other perspectives, it gave me long distance friendships I'd never have in any other way.
And it lets me tell that someone how I feel and how I am, no matter if I'm away.
It has significantly changed things in me.
Especially at a time where my ground has been shaking rather heavily lately. That small bit of peace it gives me, makes worth everything else.
It gives me an outlet to share my view on the world.
I've met some incredible people both on the site and in person. I have never felt such encouragement and support for my writing as I have on the blog. It has taught me discipline in my creative life and has lead to a part-time career in writing.
I found it a great way to share my knowledge and ideas on real estate topics.
Oh my goodness! How has it not affected my life. I have met the most wonderful people ever through blogging and have some good friends from it. It is a way of reaching people of different cultures, beliefs and yet we are all the same in so many ways.
I can look back over my blog posts to see what was important enough to me to take the time to post about. I like seeing what books I read, movies I watched and great deals I found.
Having a blog has contributed positively to my life. I have connected with some like-minded people and received positive feedback.
I think that it has made it better. I have an outlet to get out my thoughts and feelings, I have something that makes me proud of myself, and I also have a place to meet other moms and share common concerns.
It has made me realise that no matter where you live in the world through blogging every body is still connected and can stay in touch...
It allows me to reach out and/or to welcome people that would not have known me or my work otherwise.
i think its helped me out such a lot. i can get my emotions out, and sometimes i get feedback. and its nice to know that other people feel the same as me. it makes me feel less alone.
Helps me blow off steam and I can post things the media ignores or refuses to publish. |
