What was it that made you create your blog? On what date did you start it?
My cousin insisted me to join blogging.

I started blogging for a good cause last year. It's called Blogging for Invisible Illness Awareness and it's for the month of September.
To generate in income. Started sometime in 2008, not sure what date.
My first blog post was written on May 18, 2009 and it was in response to the great blogs I had been reading in the proceeding weeks. I found a wealth of information sprinkled with wonderful friendships.
I am a stay at home mom of five little boys. I needed an outlet for my creativity as well as my passion for writing and photography. No one around me is into the vintage, shabby cottagey things that I am. Networking through blogging has been one of the most wonderful things in my life. I started blogging in June of 2007.
Life in general made me started blogging. I had just lost my favorite cousin and another friend. In my eyes, life was dealing me cards that had no match. So I discovered blogging and it helped me through alot of struggles. It made me deal with my jobs, school, the crap that is being played on the radio i.e. music today and my frustrations. I started one, then deleted it because no one was coming to it or so I thought. People were visiting but just not leaving comments. So I revamped it and turn it into a blog to break molds, defeat any standards and create a voice for people without one. And it is one of the things I am very, very proud of.
I started my blog on August 12, 2009. I started it because I had just gotten my first Blackberry and started to learn more about it. Once I found out that you could change the themes and design your own, I decided to make a blog to link the themes I found that I liked and to link the ones I had created. Searching for nice, free themes can be somewhat tedious so I wanted to create one place for people to go.
I wanted to find a way to release some of the stress of raising 4 kids while my husband worked all the time. I found myself drawn to blogging. I started it probably a year ago now.
Initially I started a blog to document my day to day life, but it eventually turned into a fashion blog. I'd seen many of them all over the internet, and after much praise for my own personal style I decided to start my own.
I've been blogging since 2000, and have had several blogs in the past. My most recent blog was started in March of 2009.
I'm an unexpected Computer Science major at CMU. In 5th grade I had a dream to become a fashion designer and go to FIT, but when my senior year of high rolled around, I no longer wanted to study art in college so I opted for computer science. In my second year of college I longed to take creative classes-- and still obsessively followed fashion.
So, I decided, why not create a blog for my creative outlet? There are millions of cool design and fashion related goodies on the web just waiting to be discovered. That was when Queen of Mayhem was born.
My party, the Socialdemocrats lost the election and the rightparties came in to power in 2006. When I saw what they did to my country, I started a blog to ventilate my feelings toward the rightpolitics.
October 28, 2008. I'd been thinking about starting a blog for a long time—I thought I could inspire other parents and trade information (and laughs!) with them, raise awareness about kids with special needs and work through some of my own issues.
A few friends had them and I wanted an area to put my thoughts and feelings in one spot, as well. A diary or journal is much more personal, but this is a form of journaling to me, too. I began my blog in February when I was out of work and needed a hobby, but it became much more than that. It became my space to put actual images and words to the dreams I had, and put them out into the universe.
I have always wanted an outlet that would allow me to express myself and empower people to look and feel there best. Now that I have a blog, I can achieve that. I started my blog in August 2009. |
