What was it that made you create your blog? On what date did you start it?
I created my blog in order to promote the sport of Fastpitch Softball, primarily at the Collegiate level but also including youth Softball.
I began publishing in September 2008.
I felt free from the confines of a High school i hated so much, and needed a place in which i wouldn't feel ridiculed or judged with what i do. it was late June 09 i made my Blog.
I thought that since everyone else was doing it, and I read so many blogs from some really talented people that I should have one of them of my own. My blog anniversary is in October, 1 year. I technically started it a long time before that but didn't start blogging on a regular basis until Oct. 08.
I started my personal blog as a creative outlet/venting site. I used to blog when I had a myspace account, but deleted the account some time ago. I started the new blog back in January of this year.
My television blog I started back in March of this year (2009). It was created for a job I applied for, but never heard from the job and decided to continue the blog for my own reasons. Most of the shows I watch fall under the status of "cult" and normally are only loved after they have left the airwaves, which is a bummer when you find yourself invested in the characters (i.e. Firefly or Terminator: TSCC)
My food blog started in April of this year because I am a vegetarian and have grown tired of going to restaurants in my city to find that everything was cooked in pork fat. Over the months 2 non-vegetarians have joined the ranks so we could become more of a healthy site.
my most recent blog is new. I have only been journaling on line for a few months successfully. I think I have a deep need to create and to communicate and the blogsphere seems to be a good place to collect my favorite thought and my favorite digital images
i wanted a space where i could write about food, baking, & travel. i started November 2008.
I started my blog in August 2008 after closing our retail business and finding that I missed "connecting" with people
I wanted to express my ideas on the world of sports outside of my family and friends, so I thought a blog would be a good way to express myself. I statred my blog on July, 20. 2009.
Sports writing is a passion of mine and I hope to make a career out of it. I love talking and writing about sports, especially baseball and the Braves. Starting a blog just seemed to make sense.
I don't remember the exact date I created my first blog, but I do know I was 14 years old. I'm now almost 20 and I've been writing about the Braves for various sites and blogs every year since I started.
We created the blog on August 13, 2009, a couple weeks before the beginning of the new school year. We were used to being alone with the custodians over the summer, but when the time that the building would be full of people came close, we realized it wasn't going to happen this year.
I've been blogging since 2005.
Someone sent me a link to a blog and at that time I had never heard the word. As I was looking at his blog, I noticed the "Create a Blog" button and followed that. The rest is history.
I wanted to raise my profile in the United States. Also just an outlet for my thoguhts.

I created this blog in order to start a form of communication about divorce. It was created in January 2009.
I'm not sure, offhand, when I started it. It began because I needed a place to write what I said when I was alone, because it's the only way I stop repeating the same things to myself....
....I talk to myself a lot.
In Europe I led a network of career women. When I moved to the states, there was a demand from the women I used to coach and support, to continue sharing my ideas. So I decided to start blogging. I started when I changed jobs last time, which was a little over a month ago (August 2009). |
