What was it that made you create your blog? On what date did you start it?
Being made unemployed in March '09 gave me the time to start my blog.
WR2BAM was born on February 24th, 2008. I started it because I was spending most of my time on the internet "e-window shopping" various fast-fashion retailers and putting together collages of things that I was into in Photoshop. I was disappointed by the lack of real-world representation in fashion blogs at the time, so I decided I would throw my own inexpensive hat into the ring, offering a kind of BFF perspective on cheap fashion.
I started my blog as a test. I was working for an Internet start up at the time, and we had one expert on the Internet (with respect to SEO, html, coding). I didn't trust his answers, so I started the blog to test his theories, it's been developing from there.
I initially created my blog a little over a year ago, because I needed a platform to promote my affiliation with a street wear website; www.karmaloop.com.

I love to write. I've always had the urge to write but never knew what to do with it. I've been blogging since February 2009.

My passion and love of beer. Started it on October 17, 2009.
i am always doing my best to uncover art and music, it seemed natural....i was given a few words of encouragement, and off i went!
it began in feb 09.
I create blogs out of boredom.
Feb. 28, 2005. My immediate reason for starting it was as an outlet to my mother's death, a place I could focus that energy. Secondarily, I thought I would try my hand at gossip.
I have always felt like I best expressed the thoughts in my head in writing. As a teenager when communication broke down between my mother and myself, I often wrote my thoughts down for her, believing that feelings and ideas were getting lost when spoken. Throughout my life, I always started journals, but they would inevitably get lost when I moved from place to place.
So there was a space of too many years where I just didn't write.
My mother always encouraged me to write, and she finally persuaded me to start a blog. The ease of getting my thoughts translated into words and stored in one virtual place accessible from anywhere won me over. I started on August 11th, 2009 and I have no plans to stop.
I made my blog on March 10th, 2009, simply because I love writing, and I love having my ideas heard.
At first it was a try to see just how it works an then I saw I can write there more often than on a classic paper diary. Plus the 2.0 media possibilities!
I just wanted a creative outlet and something to do in my spare time. I started blogging in August 2009. |
