What was it that made you create your blog? On what date did you start it?
I had a hard time finding resources that dealt with finding a great place to get a burger.

I don't know really, just recognisied it as a platform to get my thoughts heard
I already had a website but liked the interactivity and organic search engine traffic that a blog allows.
A blog is an opportunity for you to place new content, relevant to your target market, onto your website regularly.
It is quite difficult for a new website to rank well in the search engines, while a blog, especially a Wordpress blog, gets traffic fed from all sorts of sources more easily.
I started my blog, originally as a free Wordpress.com blog, around December 2009, but decided this year that a self-hosted Wordpress.org blog with my own domain was the way to go.
A desire to reflect on the world around me; the reality I live in and write it down. I started blogging on August 23, 2009.
I started bloggin in April 2006. I used to read several beauty blogs and always felt I could add something to the discussion, especially since back then there were very few (if any) beauty blogs that focused on products I was interested in trying. I had the impression all the other bloggers were pale and blonde, so I started witing the blog I wanted to read.
I know a lot about computers and technology and I am always getting asked how to do things from friends, family, and coworkers. I wrote out instructions on how to do things for them from time to time. I decided that my instructions were good and that I should put them up on the web.
I also wanted to have a creative outlet for ideas that I get.
I started my blog in June of 2007.
Interestingly, I started my blog after being pressured by my web designer. He insisted I needed a blog for SEO. My first post was written with trepidation on 4 May 2009 and titled, Entering the Land of Blog. http://www.globalcopywriting.com/entering-the-land-of-blog/
My inspiration for creating my blog grew from many years in the beauty industry and wanting to share a positive experience about various products. The blog was also designed to help smaller companies with their SEO presence and help to jump start their press mentions!
Was a way to fuse my past life working in radio broadcasting and becoming a stay-at-home mom.
After thirty years of teaching I retired. It was a shock to go from being one of the most important people in the lives of 30 or so small human beings to being, well ... retired.
My blog is almost a year old. I started, rather timidly, on Oct. 30, 2009.
I have been in the photography industry in various capacities and felt there was a need for a local photography news blog. That was back in 2008 is I recall correctly. From there things have just progressed and today we even publish an online magazine at PhotoComment.net
I just wanted to write and I created this about 2 - 3 years ago.
It was back in the time when blogging was all the rage and every one with a connection to the internet was doing it. I was moving around a lot and I'm a terribly anti-social person, so I thought it might be a good idea to set something up so friends and family I can't be bothered to call up (because I'm lazy and hate phones) can see what I'm getting up to. I created mostly for the sense of catharsis, really.
I love writing and I express myself best when I write so I just thought why not use a blog to also do that? I don't have any followers though, and that's okay I'm writing for me the followers will come in time. I started the blog in Feb. 2010
I have been quite successful with my youtube videos, receiving approximately 10,000 hits and have had an overwhelming response with my viewers and their comments that I decided to start my blog and give greater detail to this journey in weight loss and the ability to interact with my followers better. |
