What was it that made you create your blog? On what date did you start it?
I have been in the photography industry in various capacities and felt there was a need for a local photography news blog. That was back in 2008 is I recall correctly. From there things have just progressed and today we even publish an online magazine at PhotoComment.net
I just wanted to write and I created this about 2 - 3 years ago.
It was back in the time when blogging was all the rage and every one with a connection to the internet was doing it. I was moving around a lot and I'm a terribly anti-social person, so I thought it might be a good idea to set something up so friends and family I can't be bothered to call up (because I'm lazy and hate phones) can see what I'm getting up to. I created mostly for the sense of catharsis, really.
I love writing and I express myself best when I write so I just thought why not use a blog to also do that? I don't have any followers though, and that's okay I'm writing for me the followers will come in time. I started the blog in Feb. 2010
I have been quite successful with my youtube videos, receiving approximately 10,000 hits and have had an overwhelming response with my viewers and their comments that I decided to start my blog and give greater detail to this journey in weight loss and the ability to interact with my followers better.
Started blogging in 1998. I still like the free writing and creative design most of all.
I started my blog because I felt I needed some self motivation. It was a chance to reflect on what I was doing and try out something new. It was essentially an open forum to change how I thought and meet new people and discuss new ideas. It also gave me a chance to think differently. I wanted to document what I was reading also as well as what I was doing every single day. This was a chance to go out and go places I had never been before and wrote about; everything from New York Comic Con to Book Expo America to The Center For Fiction. I started in November of 2007.
We wanted Madonna to have a (situated) fanbase in Serbia (:

my personal blog: oh it started when i got sick of sending several people emails about what is going in my life like the same email to every friend then i decided to make a blog and the people that wants to know what is happening with me then they could take a look.
my fashion blog: well i started to do "what wore jinx?" posts in my tumblr and well i got many comments about people wanting some advice in fashion or asking me to do a fashion blog.. so i did with a friend of mine CB :)

I started by blog in 2006 - at that time everyone and their dog wanted to start a blog. I just stuck to mine. :-)
Originally I created my blog as a way to collect my parenting and family inspirations in a single location. Eventually I saw the opportunity to help others find great ideas, deals, activities so it has morphed a bit since it's creation in 2008.
It was fun. their was no serious reason behind my blog. I had started blogging but in early i hadn't got much reader but as time passed. it became a part of my life.
I wanted to share writing that helped and inspired others. I wanted to create a positive online presence.
Well like any SEO company we thought of creating a blog where we would share our knowledge, it turned out to be fun. I think we started in May 2010! |
