What did you study and why did you choose to study that field?

I studied sociology and now I'm into human resources. I think sociology choose me.

I started off in college as a math major because I was "good at math." Then I became fascinated by psychology and ended up getting my bachelor's degree in that. However, I became disillusioned with it in graduate school. I eventually switched to computer science and went back to school for a master's degree because I enjoyed programming and it looked like a good field for employment. I also have an associate's degree in studio art that was just for fun and enrichment.

I intially graduated in Broadcast Journalism & Communications Arts, beacuse of my love & for Television from a very young age & keen interest in people. I always want to study, research & take on board every aspect of the industry. I also did a post graduate in IT & Computer Studies. Over the years I have done a variety of various relevant courses & trainings to enhance my profession & business.

Emerson College, 2003 to 2005
Bachelos of Science in Marketing Communication with a specialization in Advertising
// Because it was the best communication arts school in the US at the time and when I visited there were gay boys in spandex dancing around in the women's bathroom.

Miami Ad School, 2006 to 2007
Portfolio in Art Direction with a specialization in Insomnia
// Because it was the only international program available for exactly what I wanted to do, art direction in advertising.

Florida International University, 2006 to 2007
Masters of Science in Mass Communication with a specialization in Theory
// Because it was the fastest way to get a masters degree and I could do it at the same time as Miami Ad School. And doing the degree program was the only way to get my parents to understand paying for a portfolio program.

Master of Labour Management . I'm interested in man management.

A 99 cent paperback on Numerology changed my life in 1973

Education, Music, Theatre, English, Dance, Anatomy and Fitness.

I couldn't decide what I wanted to do and being a Nia Teacher really draws from all of the above!

A 5-year-course Degree in Computer Engineering and 2 Masters: one in Science & IT and the other in Coaching.

I studied computer engineering because I'm passionate about artificial intelligence, robotics, and human-machine interface.

I studied coaching and management-related soft skills training because I'm passionate about talent development, emotional intelligence, PNL and empowering people.

I've studied Crime and the Effects of these for 30 years from a criminal's and prisoners perspective. It was not a choice, but rather a seriously sad set of circumstances which led to my deep involvement with crime. My experience is first hand and I've studied the faults in the incarceration (prison) system in South Africa from virtually every aspect. No-one knows better than a criminal or prisoner, how to beat the system. No-one is better equipped to tell society how prisoners and warders alike enrich themselves at the expense of the tax payer. And no-one can build a better system than the prisoner himself. This is my aim. To educate thru reality and eventually build a prison which is entirely self sufficient and returns contributors to society rather than liabilities.

I studied Criminal Justice in College for a while then, changed to Business Administration.

Electronics.. Most interesting

I studied journalism with a focus on editing. The journalism program was a natural selection -- words are my favorite thing!

English and Literature. Since I believed that English would be essentially needed in whatsoever field in the near future.

I trained with a local North Devon sweep and have now built up my own clientele, most of which generates new work through word of mouth - much the best way for a business to move forward.
I retired from a 32 year profession and was wanting something different to do, but working for myself - hence the Chimney Sweeping.I work with my wife June.
I am HETAS trained, am fully Insured (under my own Public Liability Insurance, not house Insurance) and I am also a member of APICS (Association of Professional and Independent Chimney Sweeps), one of only a few recognised bodies in the world of sweeping.

I am studying Sports and Events Management at North Country Community College. I was interested in this field because of my years working in production with shows like Stars on Ice. I decided I wanted to learn more about production and managing ice shows, so I started studying sports and events management last year. I hope to complete my studies in this field next semester, then start studying massage therapy.
