What did you study and why did you choose to study that field?
I have recently graduated from a MBA program in Boston at Hult International business school (www.hult.edu) which is ranked 31st globally by the Economist Intelligence Unit. I concentrated on New Product Development and International Negotiations as this would complement my previous background and experience as well as give me formal training for my future career aspirations.
I studied commerical art at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. I chose my field because art always seemed to come easy to me. AND when I went to look at the school, all the creativity there blew me away! You know that feeling? I KNEW that was what I wanted to do.

Computer Science was my choice, as it fascinated me. I love mathematics and languages (spoken and computer), so a perfect match!
I have been writing for 30 years. I took a course but after turning in my first few pieces of work my intructor said there was no need for me to even take the class.

I studied Fashion Design at F.I.T and received my AAS in Fashion Design
I studied architecture because I liked art, science, and math. Although I was not properly informed of all available fields of study nor did I have the slightest notion of what it meant to study architecture, it was the perfect subject matter to teach me to think, conceptualize, and apply form generation and structure to many things besides buildings.
I have graduated one engineer university and two design schools, I choose Design because it was always my passion
Bachelors degree in Advertising and Masters in Organization Communications.
I've always enjoyed the creative process and found marketing and consumer behavior to be very interesting. Since a child, I've always been intrigued by special events -- whether the behind-the-scenes staging of Macy's Thanksgiving Parade to a Super Bowl halftime show.

I studied fashion design and digital design in the United States and Europe. I chose fashion as a profession because I have always been inspired by color, texture, style and sound. Fashion fuses all those things together. I learned a lot in school but I have to say that the best education is through experience. I picked up more knowledge about the industry during my first 6 months as a design assistant than I did during my 4 years of design school. Also travel and exposure to the world around you is a great educator. |
