IDEAS
Are there too many holidays in the work calendar?
No.
Depends on the country you live in.
The work-life balance is all wrong ...so no, there aren't enough opportunities for joy when the jobs demand so much. Ideal would be working at what we are passionate about, for a living and fair wage... then every day would be a pleasure and the need to 'escape' less important
never enough
There are only a few a year. America is one of the most overworked populations of any country, and someone thinks there are too many holidays? Not even close.
Everyday is a holiday of some kind. So yes. Far too many.
No, there have to be more and we need a more concious behavior to consum, so we don't need to work as much to pay for our living.
Too few.
As a worker who dislikes my job, there are never too many holidays. As someone taking an objective standpoint, there are WAY too many stupid holidays for the florists/greeting card companies/blah blah blah corporations to profit off of.
I don't think so. We americans work hard and most of the holidays are respectful of some sacrifice our predecessors have made so that we may endure. |
