No. Maybe too much violence. Not enough sex. Violence is unnatural, and aweful. I spent 23 years in Law Enforcement and saw too much violence. Had to participate in TOO MUCH violence.

Yes, definitely. I think we need to start embracing a less violent way of thinking and acting in media.
There is a lot of violence in the news which has a serious impact on the mass public. With media consumption up, more and more people are being subjected to stories of serial killers, stabbings, war, terroism and the such, which is creating an air of fear and paranoia. There is so much good happening on a day to day basis but the media doesn't care.
We now live in a very voyeuristic and nosey scociety. Sex is made out to be somehow so much more interesting when two celebraties are involved, when on the face of it, is it?
So in short, yes, I do believe that.

Yes, it's a bit sickening and, to be honest, exhausting. There are not a lot of films that are made these days that do not feature excesses of one of these two, if not both. It's a shame, and a disturbing marker of the kind of society we are living in today... |
