What do you use: Mac or PC and why?
I use both - my Mac also doubles as a PC.
Mac- it is the best piece of equipment for my profession. Pcs are just a blunt instrument used by people who don't understand the ease of using a Mac.
Mac. Because Windoze just doesn't cut it for me.
Mac, duh.
Mac, superior quality and design on almost every aspect.
Both. Professionalism.
Mac, fer sure. It's easier to use, and friendly. And you run one system, that being the Mac OS. With a PC, you're running two systems: DOS, and Windows. That adds to the load of the chip. Besides, Windows has always been a cheap attempt to copy the Apple graphical system.
Neither, actually. I used Windows for a while and hated it. Now I don't use anything made by Microsoft. Then I got a Mac. I still have it, but at 8 years old it's slow and obsolete. Given the choice, I would definitely stick with Mac - it's much better for graphics and it's easier to use and maintain.
But now I use Linux. It's free. All the software I use is free and at least as good as the paid-for stuff. The only thing I had to pay for was the actual computer.
Mac. Not just because its the industry standard but Apple Computing is the trend setter. PCs look toward Apple for inspiration.
I started with Macs and liked them a lot, but I switched to a PC after a few years to use software that wasn't available for the Mac and also to make it easier to share documents electronically.
Mac because that's what I learned on and I like the aesthetic quality. I also can't stand Bill Gates, so I don't want to support his product. Sorry Bill.
PC at work - MAC at home (also setup as a PC for software use). Waiting for the day when it doesn't matter!
Mac Pro
PC. I've been using one since 1983.
PC. Frugality. It does the job quite well enough and doesn't require me to spend twice as much to get it in the first place. Not that I don't like Macs--I just don't see myself as needing one. |
