Did God create the world in seven days, or do you believe in the theory of evolution?
I'm agnostic and believe that it is most likely a combination of divine intervention of some sort combined with evolution, if that it possible. I'm simply not able to rule out either possibility.
Both. They really do compliment each other if you think about it beyond the didacticism they communicate separately, and if you approach them without any rigidity there seems to be no real conflict at all between their premises. It's like the Heisenberg principle at work - you can't really see the function of the other perspective if you are focused on one, and vice versa.
I have to go with fact, in which case it has been proven repeatedly that man evolved, sorry theorists, no apples and borrowed ribs in this story.
I believe that, God created the evolution.
From my studies about religions, YHWH, gods, rituals, etc. it is clear that we as energetic Beings, as well as the entire Earth overall, evolve moment by moment, into a new reality. We are created to combine, blend and that makes it inevitable that we evolve. How this Universe is built and how it was created seems to be a bit of a mystery, mostly b/c of our Human need for 'recorded' proof/history. What has been studied and compared is the fact that all cultures (not religions) have basically the same story of how the Earth came to be. And it would be how we with our Human limitations perceived it to have been created. The Earth has evidentially been here much longer than our recorded history. There are a handful of cultures that have family lines that are taught the original story of the beginning of time still being handed down in the original language and ceremony. Everyone one of them indicate that there is One Source of Original Energy in the Universe/Reality. From that, three energies are sent out: supportive, challenging and neutral. All the Universe(s), dimensions and realities that exist are made up of these SAME basic energetic vibrations. These are the building blocks of our reality and the reality of every thing in the vast cosmos that we are aware of as Human Beings on Earth. This is The Creator and what form this Creator takes on is beyond any Human ability to discern….but with our heart energy, our soul, our gut, we can feel It vibrating within us and everything around us. Humans as a whole are becoming aware of this fact, and it show in discussions such as this and the vast amount of people who are trying to teach others how to recognize and utilize this knowledge to bring us The Best Life we have never imagined on Earth. :)(:AmberLena:)(: | | |
I believe in the evolution. But every one is free to believe in what they want.
I don't believe in any god. Evolution, thus, because I simply can't ignore science and what evidence points in this direction.
I'm a Christian, but i believe in the theory of evolution. It's sounds reallistic :))
The gods first got the universe started, then they created the laws of physics. Eventually, when everything had cooled down far enough, they took some complicated molecules and nudged them in the right direction to start evolution.
In any case, if you’re a deity, ‘day’ is probably a matter of definition.
I believe in the theory of evolution, to me there is no God, but I have nothing against people who are religious.
I believe in evolution, of course. It's a lot more reasonable then the 7 days fairy tale
Evolution
I believe in both theories. It's normal for russians as for people who were born in the country without religions and live in the country where church becomes a tool of politic power
I dont think that His seven days were like our seven days are. But I'd like to believe it was His doing.
The Universe was born at a particular time on a particular day. We've pretty much figured out what happened at that instant of birth and since then.
Still haven't a clue as to how, why or why not something completely different.
If by "God" you mean the energy that enabled and sustains life, I'm fine with that.
7 days? Depends on how you define days.
Evolution? How does one believe in a theory? Evolution happens, but then so does chaos. |
