Do you have any specific goals as an illustrator?
Only to produce great work. It will be nice to work with big famous magazines or have a good agent, but the main thing is to create work that gets a positive feedback and really communicates to people in an original way.
I mostly crave to improve my art, you never stop learning.
Its early days for me being an illustrator, so my main goals for now are to make a comfortable living from drawing and from being a character designer. I want to become known primarily as a character designer, and gain work on a feature film one day!

Yes, to always evolve, and learn new things. Not to find a style and stay there forever. To surprise my clients, in a good way!
My goal is to continue to better my illustration abilities.
Technically, yes, I'd still like to see more and more improvements on my works.
As a career, yes, I'd like to tackle big projects from big clients like everyone else in the industry dream about.
My goal is to be openminded for new techniques and tricks, to keep learning from other illustrators and books.
My aim is to preserve the presence of humanity in art. I hope to broaden the public's understanding of the social significance of art.
I Will not stop until I have conquered the world of Illustration and go down in history as the greatest illustrator who ever lived. No, really, it would be nice to be able to do it full time.
Make a decent living at it.
in the future i would like to study some form of illustration at university as well as go on to get my work published in some form of high end magazine like 'computer arts' or 'vogue'. i would also like to see my illustrations printed onto things like bags and badges, or t-shirts and shoes, that sort of thing. i think a dress covered in my illustrations would look amazing! i would also love to get one of my children's picture books published or at least illustrate a published children's book, i think just having instantly recognizable artwork would be the ultimate dream come true!
Really I just would like to somehow go from this to storyboards or animation. I have the talent and skills.
To become a better storyteller, to find a simpler more design led style. |
