Do you have a favorite work of art?
This is such a difficult question!
I always have to stand still in front of Alma-Tadema's paintings, but I also love Viviane Sassens pictures. I think it depends of my mood.
The Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya in Barcelona has my favourite combination of art.
My Book.
I don't have an all time favorite, but I love so many different artists and styles. I have little talent for painting but I love Impressionism, particularly Monet, and Georgis O'Keefe's flowers, since I am crazy for flowers. I love the style and colors of Matisse, Kandinsky and Klimt. I find Renaissance sculpture very inspiring, Michelangelo's Pieta is a favorite.
Anything by Schiele
Gosh, there are just so many to choose from. I don't know if I could pick just one favorite. Perhaps Judith and Holophernes by Renaissance painter Caravaggio.

I think there are too many pieces that I truly enjoy, and so I cannot pick a favorite.

Oh! Other than my own! Excuse my Vanity. Any Carravagio, David, Dali, Klimt, Gustave Dore etchings, Virgil Finlay(brilliant Sci-Fi Pen and Ink Illustrator of the 40's through 60's) ...Oh there are so many!
Art and Illustration to me is constantly changing. The degree of standards in our community increases exponentially especially with the cinematic arts being slowly guided towards the more advanced digital applications being utilized in recent features. Certain changes of this magnitude leave me at a loss for words when asked to name a favorite work of art. I cannot say for sure what is my single most all time favorite when there is art out there in the "bigger picture" that I have yet to feast my eyes on. Just thought I'd give my really ambiguous answer/opinion to this question.
No My taste in art like in music is ever changing with my mood, I could like one thing one day and another the next.
I love the work of the Catalan artist Tapies. And artist like Anselm Kiefer, Cy Twombley, Beuys, Franz Kline, and many more.
yes, of my own i like the image that is on the front of my website. Other peoples art, i adore alot of the goblin images by Brian Froud. (i met Brian and he's such a lovely man, he gave me a glass of wine and talked about his studio.....ahhh bliss) (sorry was name dropping)
