Do you have a favorite work of art?
Picasso's "Guernica"
Basquiat's "In Italian"
Drew Struzan's poster art for "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade".
Some of the mutant creatures I produced in early 2010 have been some of my favorites so far. Especially the Scuttling Grizzly piece. I also produced a troll ripping it's own guts out for Paizo Publishing... that is pretty darn fun!
There's so many! It depends on my mood, but if I was to buy any original it would be something by Dave McKean.
That is too difficult a question for an artist...it's like asking what is my favorite color. I enjoy Howard Pyle's work..from the Robin Hood series, and the image of the indian standing high..but there are too many artists and works for me to really have a favorite.
yes... lot of them... this is a 'Portrait of Nadezhda Derviz with her child' by Valentin Serov, 'The rooks return' by Alexey Savrasov, and many more painters, sculptors, and illustrators
My favorite artworks are art deco buildings and planned communities.
Not in particular.
No definitely not.
There's an amazing artist I met on an art forum years ago. His name is Justin Cherry, goes by Nivbed. He did a piece called The Lost Watchtower, which is currently my desktop background. Love it.
My newest comicbooks.
It's usually the piece I'm currently working on.
I can't say I have a favorite piece.
I'm not sure if this refers to my own art or other people's art.
So far I don't have a favourite piece I've made.
And as for favourite works of art by other people... There are over 100... :D
My current favourite piece is either "You're So Wise" or "Moonlight", I have to thank my girlfriend to inspire me in the creation of these pieces, as I've pretty much adopted my new style from those pieces. |
