What was your favorite comic book as a child?

Whohub

I never got a chance to read comics as a child (I had so little appreciation for paperbacks as a child that my parents would refuse to pay for such things.

I did read many books as a child, including Dinotopia, which gave me an interest in paleontology and art.

2000 AD Featuring Judge Dredd

Spiderman, Beano, Dandy.

I have been very lucky, I think: I didn't know anything about comics till I grew up.

I like the x-men. As a teenager I loved manga, especially FLCL and anything by Clamp.

I never read 'Comic Books' in the sense you mean. My favourite comic as a child was The Beano. Mostly I read books starting with picture books like Where The Wild Things Are and the Baba Papa books and moving on to Enid Blyton then later anything by Tolkein.

The first one I remember reading over and over was Bianca and Bernie, from the Disney movie.

Superman

batman, sailor moon, astro boy!

As a child, I did not have many comic books. I began reading comics more frequently in my teenage years. Of what I had, my favorite childhood comic books were the Pokemon manga adaptations and the Archie series. My favorite monthly magazine strips were Jet Pack Pets, Disney's Tall Tales, and the Hair Pair, all of which ran in the now-cancelled Disney Adventures magazine.

I think it's a draw between Ninja Turtles and Spiderman.

The Phantom, Tintin, Asterix etc

I didn't read comics I did collect stickers though!
