i am still studying at central st.martins in london.

Art Foundation - Distinction
Illustration BA(Hons) - 2:1
I have a BFA in Illustration from the Savannah College of Art and Design.
I studied Sculpture to post-graduate level.
nah, i went to school for illustration...oh, and the school of hard knocks
I am currently a senior at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, MI. I will graduate in May 2010.
I'm mostly self taught. I have had some formal studies, but that was more for graphic design than for illustration. I would still love to get an illustration degree, someday.
Studing illustration BA HANS at the University of Brighton.
I am currently attending Otis Collage of Art and Design but I've been drawing since I was young.
Self-taught except for 3 years at RMIT, Melbourne.
I took a few drawing classes and gave all the pieces away, so unfortunately I never got a chance to save and scan them. Other than that I am self-taught.
Formal Art studies
I am self-taught, however I have taken advantage of examining others art to incorporate into my own techniques.
I did a short stint at fashion design at Auckland University of Technology,back in 2006. I did not end up completing this however because I only wanted to design and felt like what was being taught to me in the course was rather limited, and that I had to work a certain way, which I dont think is necessary to succeed within the fashion industry.
I did A Bachelor of Fine Arts then moved into a Diploma of Illustration. I think though that a lot of what we do as illustrators is self taught. You never stop learning or developing as an artist, and the more you learn, the stronger your concepts and ideas get. |
