Ideas can come simultaneously to different people in different places with no connection to one another. How do you explain this phenomenon?
I can only answer this question by saying brain waves travel

It cannot be explained. Great minds think alike.
I think there is a shared subconcious universe we can all tap into. Similar to the notion of 'God'. Anyone can have an idea, its the realisation of it that makes it.
Maybe everyone is connected? Whether you have religious beliefs, are an athiest, believe in the superconscious mind, or just to the electromagnetic fields caused by our brain waves influencing other people's brain functions, maybe we are.
Or it's just serendipitous coincidence! :-)
You can't keep a good idea down. They come to light when and where ever.
I think that this phenomenon stems from current events. We are all witnesses to the same things happening around us. Sometime, rarely, we will be looking at or thinking about the same event which will spark the same idea.
God. Well sometimes. I heard some music on a TV ad and it so much was something I'd written as a beginner at composition; it was identical to what I'd written so long ago. Then I thought about monkeys and typewriters. I think that we are all brothers and sisters; so to come up with similar ideas is a natural.
Synchronicity. Zeitgeist. Parallel Universes. Particle physics. Telepathic theft. Microwaves & tinfoil.
The only reason I can think of is possible association. When I see an apple, I think red, fruit, etc. Most of the population would associate in the same way. So if there is a major event, trend, problem, etc., it is more than likely two people will have the same idea about it. I guess it's up to who finishes first that will get the glory.
Creativity is hability that eveybody have. And the possibility for different people to give the same idea is very big! Even they live in different places, they have different expeciences of life and work, but they had a same sollution for a problem, and it must be happening right now if different places around the Globe.
1 dude watchs the news in japan and I watch it here in the states . If were both comics chances are we both might write something about it for the stage but most likely 2 totally different takes on the same subject

It's a big world, but there are quality traits that are native to human beings on the whole. Universal constants to define who we are. We're mora alike than we think. These similarities help us come to the same conclusion when presented with the same stimulation. |
