I've just seen the first airing of the new yeo valley rap and it's put a big smile on my face and it's been a long time since an ad had that effect on me. I also love the new Ikea kitchen ad - it captures the wide ranging emotional connections people have to the 'heart' of the home as well as the breadth of uses and styles people want to chose from.

An ad I saw at the airport in LA that said "No-one ever inherited their dad's digital watch". A good reminder to think of the quality you are purchasing, not just for yourself, but for generations to come.
I can't recall one that stood out to me recently.

In a way I object to adverts, because they do nothing to our psyche creatively apart from bombarding and controlling our thoughts about desire for 'things'

The Oregon Timbers ads. There are these women holding axes & Chainsaws with these serious expressions. I love it!
