My favorite advertisements are the Chick-fil-a's billboards. I rarely pay attention to billboards, but those always stick out to me. I find myself looking for them. The humor used with those ads, are hilarious to me. Humor will always get me to take notice. Speaking of humor, I love the E-trade baby T.V. ads too. They had me looking at etrade.
I love Anderson Roy Andersson commercials (search on youtube).
I don't know it's name, but it showed how that adult people tends to reflect their behaviour in their children, if they shout, scream, behave in a certain way. Because Children tend to imitate them, and build this behaviour in their personality roots.
2009 AFL ads, don't ask why
the Apple ad series....Hi I am PC, Hi I am Apple
I have not seen any advertisements lately.
A faux advertisement. I was recently re-watching "Slings and Arrows", where the fictional New Burbage Theatre had engaged the equally fictional Frog Hammer company to handle their publicty, who used a smear campaign against their subscriber base to promote their new productions. It seemed almost brilliant enough to actually work. I'm reminded of an article I read a while back about the people who did the promotional concepts behind Nine Inch Nails' Year Zero album and tour, using cyphers and clues that seemed random until people became curious and started tracking them, uncovering a bigger, hidden picture. I love these ideas toward engaging others into the intimate play of culture.
Really appreciated the "Imported from Detroit" campaign this year.
