Do you believe the newer generations are better at designing?
Well, maybe not at designing, but probably at making a website function right.
I don't think its case of being better, just having access to more information.
I have access to things that my great grandmother wouldn't even have known about let alone have been able to find out about at the touch of a button. We have a wider range of sources but better ? I really wouldn't like to say.

I can't say they're "better" but I can say they bring new design and fresh inspiration to the rest of us.
No. New generations have and know very much tecnologies, they have more tools than olders, but this no meaning that they are better in design. Design is thinking, and thinking is free and don't involve tools.

I think the newer generation may have an advantage over the technical, computer aspect, but ideas and concepts are the power - and that comes from deep within the creativity of the individual, whether that person was born during the Renaissance or last week.
No! I think great design has very little to do with age or generation.
Having said that, I do think new generations do look at projects and challenges in a new, fresh way and are often more open to experimenting with new techniques and willing to take more risks. This can be helpful when your intended audience is much younger than you are. That's why I like to collaborate with a variety of people from different backgrounds and generations.

There is a place for new and old... learn from the old and have a full holistic outlook..
Not necessarily. There is a great deal of value in experience and knowing what works and doesn't work. An "older generation" designer is hopefully keeping up with the latest trends in design and so can offer that freshness plus wisdom that usually only comes from experience.
No. Computer generated design limits the imagination.
I don't think it's really a generation thing
There is a distinct different of approach to design between Digital Natives and Digital Immigrants. Each could learn something from the other.
