Do you believe the newer generations are better at designing?

Whohub

Of course.

I don't think that they are better, I think that they bring a new enthusiasm that always brings vitality to the trade.

Not necessarily. But younger generations have to be faster. We live in an on demand world. Sometimes we design to keep up.

Oh yeah!

You can't compare it really. In a previous generation different skills were important and there were different styles, fonts and shapes in fashion.

Not really.

Certainly yes

They are faster!

I believe we need a healthy mix. There's a lot to be said for experience and there's as much to be said about fresh blood and new thinking. Surely the two working in harmony is always going to offer the best of both worlds.

Technically yes.

no.

unfortunately, i can say absolutely not.
i'm old school... i still hand sketch and drape. now, young designers do everything on a computer and don't even know how to sew. it's sad.

..obviously it is an evolution, no one is better, only different.
New generations are still learning from old techniques and vice versa.

Absolutely not.

May be ...
