Popular images, things that people recognise because of the abstraction. It is nice to draw very little and if it's recognisable, you make the minds think and finish the drawing. 


Honestly I look to my children and what they like. Whatever movies or games their into I start designing around.

Wow. Lots - lately its been aztec and african art. Most anything that has rich texture.

Art and music and technology. I draw a lot of what I do from digital cultures and trends. I think its really fascinating just how much the internet has changed our society and how noone really knows where its all going! I am here for the ride! 


My cultural sources are mainly from the Orient and from Russia. However, since I spent most of my life in America, these influences are also strong. I like African and Latin music and art as well. No culture is excluded from my borrowing from it for ideas and inspiration.
