How and why did you begin to be creative?
How? Because a saw many inspirational people that inspire me to be creative. I began to be creative because it allows you to step outside the normal box and enter a realm no one else has been before!
I think I've always been creative in my work life, but it's only since 2003 that I've been creative in another way: writing novels. I was briefly unemployed and did a lot of reading, and I came across Nicholas Sparks' book, Three Weeks With My Brother. The book was okay, but what really impressed me was the fact that he received a million-dollar advance for it! When I read that, I thought, "Wow, he's a good writer, but I know I can do that, too!" I've been writing novels ever since!
I always was creative, I like to draw and write stuff.
at first i see my friend who loved to making some homemade at home, and i thought it was some interesting thing to do.. :)

When I was old enough to speak... I would create grand scenarios. My Mom says that it was if I had lived another life... as a PRINCESS! before. When I was old enough to begin writing full sentences, I wrote stories and sent my parents long letters about why I needed to own a horse. I even named the horse Kristy. I think that it began because I was an only child for my first four years and both of my parents were artists -- both were in music. After my brother was born, I used my creative imagination to escape his noise and his constant following and bothering me.

I have been creative and especially making beads and jewellery all my life. I began getting into crystal healing and decided to combine the both in crystal healing jewellery under the name of Ravenmoon Designs Jewellery. The first piece I ever made was for my mother. She was suffering with a severe illness and I knew in my heart of hearts the crystals had the power to heal her. The piece I made was very personal and spelt out the name "MUM" in their names. Sure enough even the doctors could find no more wrong with her! I was impressed by the power this crystal healing jewellery had and decided to design a range of astrology inspired jewellery. This proved very popular at craft fairs and created the start of my world!
Well, I started drawing at 2 yrs-old. I liked drawing cartoons, at first, but I also liked drawing landscapes and animals. I was bored at the time, so I tried seeing how well I can copy things onto paper without tracing them.
It has began when I was a child. I've always liked to make something - a picture, a paper model and so on... |
