I am currently working on two projects - an illustrated story, and a story for a comic. The illustrated story is called 'Lament'. It is a Military Drama / Thriller. The story for a comic is titled 'Wandering Minds'. The story is about college students, and ties in to Lament. While Lament is a rather serious story, Wandering Minds for the most part is not.
Working on both a serious and comedic project at once provides a sense of balance between the two.
Reviews and articles are always ongoing. Whatever is about to be released in theaters, I've probably got a review in the works for it.
Still working on the fantasy story called Farfetchland. It's evolved into the trilogy. I finished the 13 chapter first part about a year and a half ago and I'm currently in the outlining stages of the second part. It's progressing nicely. I just want it to be longer than the first part. If I can manage that and have it be coherent and entertaining, then I'll be happy. I already have ideas and the ending planned out in my head, as well.
After that, I still have a few other ideas I'd like to get to as well.
I am in the middle of looking of a design permanent job. Writing is not my main thing to do anymore, I have a few stories at hand, but I'm still in the planning/draft thinking.
I am writing a second book called ~You leave me no Option~ It is a part two of this book I have on the market now.
A novel about being a struggling poet and Romantic in America.
Right now, I'm in the process of doing an autobiographical/educational piece about some of the things I've gone through and how to best handle them.
Currently I'm working on a book about midlife pregnancy, some children's books with my daughter, a book of short stories, and a few other things. I have many irons in the proverbial fire at the moment.
There is currently a half finished song-like poem open in my word processor, waiting for me to find the perfect AABBAB rhyme.
I also have two different novels on the go, both for two different people, and when I am done that, I plan on finishing a screenplay.
I also have some ideas for new short stories and novels.
I'm currently working on the second book in my Intrepid Earth series, titled Of Shadow and Dissonance.
In the fall of 2009 I'm working on the third book in a mystery series that was first published in February of 2009. The story revolves around a young elementary school teacher who gets involved in mysteries in her rural hometown. In the current installment, Judy and her sidekick, Ardyth, find the town civil servant in charge of watering flowers at the founding father's statue unnaturally at rest with a garden claw imbedded in her head.
I'm doing an on-line interview. Then I'm going to finish editing a few chapters of the book and then work on the screenplay.... which I LOATHE doing, but that's life.
a fiction book
Another damned novel.
I currently am working on a story about a famous black entrepenuer. I want to be able to share stories of people of color. I want to educate kids about famous people other than Dr. King, Harriett Tubman or Frederick Douglas.
Getting ready for the release of my new book The Healing Powers of Chocolate. It already has been accepted by the book clubs; we're anticipating it will be successful.
