A book review
The follow up to my novel Gumbo Justice, titled Jambalaya Justice, and still trying to get my screenplay, Angel Trap, perfect.
I also have number three in the Crescent City Mystery Series, called Chocolate City Justice, which takes place during Hurricane Katrina, outlined and partially written.
Only that which I write each morning. One day, perhaps, I would like to sort of compile some of the messages that I've been blessed to be able to write and maybe make a book out of them.
I just finished a Classic Western that I would welcome help with in trying to market this project as either a novel or movie. I am presently working on a film story idea that is based on fact. In August of 2007, at age 56, I began to date a beautiful African American college girl named Tanisha, age 20. It is an unusual true story about a white man and much younger woman finding romance in a small town in rural Wisconsin. Tanisha was my first-ever girlfriend as I have trouble relating to females because of my disability of schizophrenia, which I have suffered with since 1973. This would make for a fantastic motion picture and I hope someone will read this and contact me. My name is James and I live in Lake Geneva, WI, and my phone number is (262) 348-1352.
I'm currently editing an anthology of Canadian Poetry entitled [Word]: A Journal of Canadian Poetry, to be released on my small press publishing company - Undertow Press in March of 2010. Details available at http://www.journalofcanadianpoetry.com
I'm working on a piece about friendship and the breaking point of it.
I'm working on completing a Sci-Fi fictional piece that combines a prominent social issue with both judgement day and aliens. I'm also working towards getting a children's story published.

I'm working on a screenplay and a pilot, in addition to my monthly blog.
I'm enduring a lengthy editing process for a co-authored project, about an accountant who gets bored with his life, winds up becoming a pirate, then gets forcibly drafted into a prison football team. You can download some of the advance chapters at: http://feudball.com/
I wrote a lot of stories online over a number of years and it suddenly struck me that if the web crashed I would have nothing to show for all my labours. I also realised that most of what I'd written was actually only in draft form. So, I set out to re-draft to re-write and improve and also to turn my words into hard copy...something I could hold in my hand. That's what I'm working on.
Answering to stupid questions … actually I don't know, because when I do not do anything it already happens.
My new project is a combination of Sciece Fiction and the Paranormal. The book title is "The Indistinct".
I have about four articles in process and two presentations currently.
A follow up to Spirit of the Snake, Blood Spirit. It takes place in 1871 Texas. Lots happening in North Central Texas in that time, Comanche and Kiowa raids, outlaws, cattle drives ... the list goes on and on.
I am working my second poetry collection. Otherwise a cluster of novel ideas, ever flowing through my mind! |
